A very good band, one of my favorites. I would start with the album Relationship of Command, if you were going to start by albums. Queens of the Stone Age are in a similar vein as Finch, and they are certainly less emo and, in my opinion, play catchier songs as well. I recommend Songs for the Deaf, but Lullabies to Paralyze is really good as well. If you like Glassjaw, I would suggest listening to Head Automatica, which is Daryl Palumbo (the lead singer of Glassjaw)'s side project. I don't really know too many good bands that sound like the Deftones, because people usually lump them with crap like Limp Bizkit. They are MUCH more talented than that.
