that’s so fucking right! they make real music, unlike others who just go for money…lots of mainstream bands suck…not all, but just so many…GJ 4 LIFE!!!

lol,u all fail at life.this is not a new song,so if u said that their new stuff sounds like they sold out, lol,i’ll have u know they been playing this song at live shows since late 2002,they just never recorded it on cd or released it.they will on their new album though.laterz

  7. xchrisricex on April 1st, 2009 7:03 am

don’t they need to sell out to be sellouts? If you want to listen to bands that just write the same songs over and over again, go listen to nickelback and ACDC like you deserve.

  8. corydeeznutz on April 3rd, 2009 7:23 am

GJ = never sell outs… you ever read any of becks interviews? no? they’re makin music for them, not to make money, and for that im grateful..

ps. WE NEED NEW GLASSJAW ALBUM!

They suck because they’re innovative, and their song making skills only progress with time? No one likes making the same fucking music, unless they’re purposefully trying to stick with a definition of a genre. If they’re open-minded musicians they’ll experiment, and do awesome shit that blurs genre labeling.

  10. rns931 on April 6th, 2009 6:16 pm

the fact that you consider GJ a sellout confuses me. this is like what happened to Poison the Well after You Come Before You, how people thought they went “candyass” when they not only progressed further, they made very unique music (Versions). GJ have done the same as well. so shut the fuck up, as kurenai said.

  11. KurenaiDISCHORD on April 8th, 2009 2:54 am

You’re a fucking tool you sound just like everyone else How typical, “Sellout” this, “Not the same” that Bands grow change just like people. Shut the fuck up. No one cares. Shut the fuck up.

This band sucks so much now. If any of you can find it, there’s a vid floating around here of them circa 1996 playing at deja one in long island when they were a still a good band. sellouts

  13. syrup81 on April 9th, 2009 1:16 pm

Its the drummer from saves the day!

  14. enjoyincubus1320 on April 11th, 2009 7:42 pm

this band is crazy. no other band has its own fans by the balls this badly. GJ’s fans are so diehard its obscene. We have all been waiting soooooo long for the next record. They pull sooo much bullshit like the last lisp on the my space etc. I guess we just wait around like we have been for 6 years.

  15. SonnyTBNYC on April 15th, 2009 1:41 am

definitely. in the old days he seemed to run out of breathe a lot, get off point sometimes. there was some charm to it, sure, but now he’s just an assassin.

  16. jumborat12 on April 17th, 2009 12:38 am

    is that a new drummer

  17. depletable on April 17th, 2009 2:51 am

Darryl’s voice is crazy on point these days. I think he learned a lot with Head Automatica as far as singing. It works with GJ too, so I’m pleased.

  18. XercesGrey on April 17th, 2009 3:11 am

they should go back to two guitars. not just for the music too. but, it seems like daryl is the only one moving around and really performing anymore.

  19. woahgandhi on April 17th, 2009 9:00 pm

i cannot wait to see these guys on saturday
best band in existence without a shadow of a doubt!

  20. andrewfarwell on April 18th, 2009 2:18 pm

i’m stoked to see other people getting blown away by glassjaw, it’s a rare sight these days(unfortunately). i went to a glassjaw show in october and i had to say, i was impressed. stage performance of course, but also the fans were just genuine. no trends or scenes, just genuine music.

  21. p1nkr0ses on April 20th, 2009 5:52 am

aw man i cannot wait to see these guys in may! thats some top class glassjaw right there.

  22. PrestoYaDead on April 22nd, 2009 6:39 am

Yeah I read an interview with Beck that basically said he’ll never set a date kuz “why rush it”. Beck is my favorite dickhead ever :) but I think it’s getting closer to our time, fireal this time. This is one of the greatest videos.

at this very show Daryl said something about a release in the spring of 2007, it’s now spring 2008. I don’t doubt they will be releasing SOMETHING, SOMETIME but it could be another year or 2.

  24. enjoilongisland2 on April 25th, 2009 11:58 pm

I remeber this show at the donkey. i was like 2 feet away daryl’s parents.

  25. johnnyquest2479 on April 28th, 2009 2:05 pm

Man, after hearing any of these new songs how can you not be stoked for the new record? So incredible
